Rays vs Twins

I'm backing the Rays with Archer over Santiago on Friday.  Minnesota has played much better on the road where it is 14-5 compared to 11-13 at home this year.  Chris Archer was a hard luck loser against the Yankees on Sunday when he struck out 12 and gave up three runs in 6 1/3 innings. Archer is 3-1 with a 2.59 ERA against the Twins the last three seasons, including 2-0 and 1.46 at Target Field.  Hector Santiago has given up nine runs on 15 hits his last two starts against the Indians and Royals in just 7 2/3 innings pitched. Tampa Bay hitters have a collective .302 batting average and .865 OPS against Santiago and the Rays have won five of Archer's last six starts against the Twins and 19 of their last 26 games at Minnesota overall.  Tampa Bay has won six of its last eight road games.  We'll back Archer in tonight's matchup.  We're playing the Rays on Friday night.  Thanks & GL!  Scott Spreitzer.

Cardinals vs Rockies

Play Type: Top Premium

I'm backing the Colorado Rockies with Freeland over Wainwright.  St. Louis got off to a slow start this season, then got hot for awhile, and now the Cardinals are back to their losing ways going down to defeat seven of their last nine games, including a 10-0 blowout by the Rockies last night. Meanwhile, Colorado has won five of its last six and remains in first place in the NL West with a 32-18 record.  Kyle Freeland has slipped a little after five out of six quality starts to begin the season, but the Rockies have won seven of his nine starts overall and the Cards are not hitting southpaws...again this season.  St. Louis has scored only 34 runs with a .228 batting average against left-handers (starters & relievers) in 31 games.  Adam Wainwright has a 7.11 ERA and .383 opponent batting average on the road and a 1.68 WHIP overall.  The Rox are 11-3 against pitchers with a WHIP greater than 1.30 and Wainwright's only start at Coors since 2014 was not a good one for the righthander.  Colorado is ranked fourth in the majors in home OPS and the Rockies have scored 60 runs their last eight games.  We'll back the Rockies, our Saturday night KNOCKOUT.  Thanks & GL!  Scott Spreitzer.

Scott Spreitzer is now in his 18th year of handicapping and can currently be seen nationally on the Proline TV show, which airs on football weekends at 7 am ET on the USA cable network. Scott is the ONLY handicapper to advance to 3 straight finals in the Sunset Station Casino Invitational in Las Vegas. In fact, he's the all-time Sunset Station Casino Invitational's WIN CHAMPION! And what's most impressive about Scott's record is that it was compiled with a high volume of selections. Scott released over 500 NFL & college football plays in 5 seasons, and finished with an awesome 59% ATS winning mark, as documented by the Sunset Station Casino and the Las Vegas betting public. Besides being a champion handicapper, Scott co-hosted the legendary Stardust Line radio show for six years and was the weekly football analyst on the Pete Rose radio show. Scott has also hosted the ESportsDaily radio show, which aired in over 60 U.S. cities.
