Oakland's Chad Gaudin struggled out of the gates to start the season, by allowing 8 earned runs in his first 10 innings of work. His next 3 games he settled in and allowed 2 earned runs over his next 20 innings. Gaudin will be opposed by A.J. Murray of Texas who is taking the place of injured starting pitcher Jason Jennings. With three pitchers on the disabled list, the Rangers are forced to go with A.J. Murray who has been less than spectacular to say the least. Murray had a 10.80 Era in 3 Spring training starts, and has struggled against the A's in three relief appearances allowing 5 runs in 6 innings of work. Oakland has scored 33 runs in their last 5 games, and now get a shot at Murray, who they have had success against in the past. With Gaudin pitching lights out baseball, and Oakland finally scoring some runs, we will make this our MLB Game of the Week!!!
