The Minnesota Twins are 3-1 in Glen Perkins last 4 starts at Home. They are also 16-5 in their last 21 home games. Texas on the other hand are just 5-16 in Millwoods last 21 road starts, and are 2-6 the last 8 times they have played in Minnesota. Perkins has definitely been the better pitcher of late, allowing 20 hits over his last 20 innings while maintaining a 3.15 Era in those starts. Millwood has been a model of inconsistency all season. Opposing batters are hitting .321 against him on the season, while his whip is at a 1.71. Minnesota has all kinds of speed that can cause problems in this matchup. If Millwood puts to many men on with the free passes, this game could get ugly quick, and that's exactly what I expect to happen. If the Rangers powerful lineup has a weak spot it is that they have hit a low .233 on the road vs lefties this season. This is the first game at home for the Twins, since coming off a 7 game road trip. Now they get to face, possibly the worst pitcher in the Texas starting roatation!
