The Baltimore Orioles pitching staff has struggled getting through the 5th inning and with major wear on their bullpen they have found themselves in the bottom of the AL East. Radhames Liz takes to the mound sporting a 2-3 record and an ERA busting over 7.50 and is coming off the worst performance of his career is the 10 cent favorite over Jesse Litsch who is 8-6 with a 4.30 ERA. This fact was quite puzzling so I decided to do some digging to figure out why this was; here is what I came up with. Liz holds a 1.64 ERA in three games over the Blue Jays and Litsch is no longer the 7-1 pitcher he started the season as. Jesse has lost his last 2 starts with an ERA of 10.20. He is 1-2 with a 3.57 ERA against Baltimore in his career. Toronto has a .237 batting average over their last 11 games while Baltimore has scored an average of 5.3 runs in their last 4 games. Baltimore is 11 games over .500 at home and Toronto is 11 games under .500 on the road. I like Baltimore to get it done tonight at a solid price. Take the Orioles at -110 Monday at 7:05pm EST.
