Okay…Two straight games killed in the 9th innings. Both games looked stellar through 8 but in the 9th a late single has killed both unders. I am confident that this is not happening again tonight, and if It does, well I guess it was not meant to me was it... Joel Pineiro, 3-4 this season with an ERA topping 3.70. He has not got a decision in nearly a month and has been a little shaky to say the least in that time frame. For Atlanta we have Mike Hampton, 0-0 with a 13.50 ERA. Sure the numbers don’t look great but he has only made 2 starts since 2005 his last one coming on Saturday against Philly where he got a ND. In his career Hampton is 10-8 against STL with a 3.59 ERA. The 5* bomb is on the UNDER in St. Louis Atlanta. Game time is 7:10pm est.
