Pittsburgh Penguins at Philadelphia Flyers
FREE Pick: Play on OVER the total in Philadelphia vs Pittsburgh @ 7:35 PM ET Certainly the Penguins defense has improved tremendously compared to past campaigns. However, that didnt stop the first two games in this series from going over the total and its not likely to stop this one either. The Flyers have made some line changes heading into this win or go home Game Four in Philly on Thursday night. This should inject some offensive life into a Flyers offense that was very frustrated by their effort in Game Three of this series on Tuesday night! Philadelphia now gets a chance to make amends for that effort and we have a feeling that putting Mike Richards on the same line with Daniel Briere is just one of a number of changes the Flyers will employ tonight as they look to inject some life into their offense. Philadelphia has scored just five goals so far in this series but their bigger problem has been their defense. Theres only so much that goaltender Martin Biron can do and he has been rendered defenseless by numerous turnovers that the Flyers have made in their own zone throughout this series. The fact is that the numerous injuries the Flyers have had to their defensemen have weakened this team quite drastically and theyve allowed four goals in each of the three games in this series. Philadelphias defense is likely to struggle again tonight but we foresee them looking to win this game in the offensive end. In an elimination game setting, Philly will pull out all the stops to remain competitive throughout and avoid getting sent home on the wrong end of a sweep. What this means is that the Flyers will be crashing the net and doing everything they can to boost their offense. This one flies over the total as a result!
