Minnesota Lynx at Tulsa Shock

We are catching great value in this total. The first meeting this season just over three weeks ago had a closing total of 166.5 and even though it stayed well under the number, this is a drastic decrease from that. Both teams have been up and down with their totals and are a combined 4-4 over/under when the total is priced at less than 160. The difference here is the recent splits with the offense and defense.

Tulsa's defense is pretty bad. The Shock had one good game defensively where they allowed 59 points against Washington and that was a total aberration as they have allowed 75 or more points in every one of their other eight games including giving up 82 or more points seven times and 90 or more points four times.

Minnesota has scored 74 or more points in seven of eight games with the lone exception being 55 points tallied against Seattle, easily the best defensive team in the WNBA. Overall the Lynx are averaging 77.4 ppg and taking out that game against the Storm, the average increases to over 80 ppg which shows how one game can skew a number.

Minnesota also falls into a great situation favoring a high scoring contest. Play the 'Over' with road teams where the total is greater than or equal to 150 after having lost two of their last three games going up against an opponent after having lost three of their last four games.
