Oklahoma City Thunder at Utah Jazz

We have been on the wrong side of two of Oklahoma City's games on this roadtrip, although one did result in a possible push, all because of late game bad bounces. The Thunder forced overtime in Portland only to win there and then won in the final seconds against Golden St. the next night. Friday marks the final game of this roadtrip for Oklahoma City and it has been a very tough stretch as this is its fourth game in five nights and sixth game in eight nights.

Utah is back home following a two-game roadtrip where it lost both games in New York and Indiana and has had two days of rest since then, After this game, the Jazz go back on the road for three straight games and considering their 2-7 record away from home, that makes this home game especially important. Utah is 11-4 at home this season with two of those losses coking in overtime and the other two coming by two and three points so that 11-4 record could be even better.

This is the first meeting this season between these two teams and Utah will be out to get some payback following the three straight losses that ended last year's season series. The Jazz lost both meetings at home and they were favored in those games. If this line holds, this will be the first time Utah has been a home underdog against the Thunder since it moved from Seattle. That shows how far the Thunder have come in a short amount of time but does not give regard to how strong the Utah home court still is.

The Jazz are squarely in the playoff race at 13-11, which has them eighth in the Western Conference. They are just 6-8 against current playoff teams but the majority of those losses came on the road. Utah is 4-0 ATS in its last four games against teams with a winning record and it is 5-1 ATS in its last six games as a home underdog of fewer than five points. The Jazz are also a perfect 3-0 ATS this season when playing with two days of rest and along with the Thunder's brutal stretch, it will make a big difference. 9* (874) Utah Jazz
