ATS: Los Angeles Clippers +4 (-110)
WIN for +4.55 unit(s)
Los Angeles Clippers at Philadelphia 76ers
The Clippers head into Philadelphia coming off a loss in Cleveland and that was not that big of a surprise. It was their first game without Chauncey Billups who has been lost for the season with a torn Achilles and we figured there would be some rotation issues. Randy Foye didn't play bad as his replacement in the starting lineup and with a game under their belts, I expect the Clippers to come back strong here. They are a respectable 5-5 on the road against a stout slate.
The Sixers meanwhile are coming off a loss against the Spurs and while a bounce back could be argued, I don't know if this team is capable quite yet. Philadelphia is 18-8 on the season but it caught a lot of breaks early in the season with opponents having significant injuries to at least one and in some cases two important starters. Seven of those 18 wins came against Washington, Charlotte, Toronto and Detroit which are the four worst teams in the Eastern Conference.
The Clippers are 6-5 against teams ranked in the top ten while the Sixers are just 5-5 against teams ranked in the top 16 and that disparity is due to strength of schedule. Los Angeles has played the seventh ranked schedule while Philadelphia has played the 29th ranked schedule in the league. That goers along with the earlier statement about the Sixers beating up on the bad teams while the Clippers have a nearly identical overall record against a much tougher set of opponents.
Los Angeles has lost consecutive games only once this season and that was in its second and third games of the year. The Clippers are 6-0 coming off a loss since then and that includes a perfect 6-0 record against the number. This is the first opportunity to win a road game coming off a road loss. The Sixers do have a better record coming off a loss this season as they have not lost back-to-back games at all but one look at the follow up team will tell you why. The points are worth a lot in this matchup. 9* (859) Los Angeles Clippers

Indiana Pacers @ Miami Heat Tuesday May 22, 2012 8:00 pm
We saw something very similar last night with Boston as the home team took advantage of having a Game Five at home and thus took control of the series with a win. Miami is in the same spot tonight and after a very inspired effort on Sunday, I expect the Heat to ride that into Tuesday. ... read more

Philadelphia 76ers @ Boston Celtics Monday May 21, 2012 7:00 pm
This is a pivotal game for both sides as the winner of this game will have a big edge in the series with just one more win needed to advance. We had Philadelphia is Game Four and it was able to tie things up but now we will go the other way and take the Celtics which are in the best ... read more

San Antonio Spurs @ Los Angeles Clippers Sunday May 20, 2012 10:30 pm
We won with the Spurs on Saturday and we will go right back with them on Sunday. It was not a good day for the Staples Center home teams as the Clippers and Lakers blew a combined lead of 37 points and the former hurt the most as the Clippers are now down 3-0 in this series and you ... read more

Miami Heat @ Indiana Pacers Sunday May 20, 2012 3:30 pm
We lost with the Heat in Game Three which was pretty much a must win spot for them and now this one turns into a definite one. A loss here and the series isn't over for Miami but it is pretty close so its needs to tie this one up before heading back home for Game Five. The Heat have ... read more

Oklahoma City Thunder @ Los Angeles Lakers Saturday May 19, 2012 10:30 pm
The Lakers were able to climb back into the series last night with a win over Oklahoma City to pull to within a game. It will be short-lived though as these teams play again Saturday in the second of a back-to-back playoff set at Staples Center. It was obviously a must win for Los ... read more

San Antonio Spurs @ Los Angeles Clippers Saturday May 19, 2012 3:30 pm
This is a big weekend for the Clippers which would love nothing more than to sweep the two games played in Los Angeles to even up this series but it simply will not happen. They likely will not even win one of the games as they are clearly overmatched against one of the most efficient ... read more

Boston Celtics @ Philadelphia 76ers Friday May 18, 2012 8:05 pm
We played on the Sixers Wednesday and they certainly came up small as Boston was able to grab back the home court edge after a home split in the first two games. This makes Philadelphia in a prime situation on Friday in a chance to even up this series at home. The Sixers were embarrassed ... read more

Miami Heat @ Indiana Pacers Thursday May 17, 2012 7:05 pm
Miami let one get away in Game Two as the Heat lost at home to the Pacers and thus, lost home court advantage in this series. They need to get it back and it needs to be done here in the first game in Indiana because being down 2-1 with the possibility of being down 3-1 is not the ... read more

Los Angeles Lakers @ Oklahoma City Thunder Wednesday May 16, 2012 9:35 pm
The Lakers were clearly outmatched in Game One against Oklahoma City as their grueling seven-game series against Denver took its toll. Even though there is just one day in-between games here as well, at least Los Angeles doesn't have to travel as it did prior to this series opener. ... read more

Boston Celtics @ Philadelphia 76ers Wednesday May 16, 2012 7:05 pm
Boston threw away a golden opportunity as it was able to snag home court advantage thanks to the Bulls series loss against Philadelphia but now gave it back to the Sixers after splitting the first two games at home. Either of those games could have gone either way so the series is ... read more
