ATS: Baylor Bears -1.5 (-110)
LOSS for -5 unit(s)
Kansas Jayhawks at Baylor Bears
Kansas is coming off a tough loss on Saturday at Missouri and things will not get any easier here as it travels to Waco with first place in the Big XII on the line. The Jayhawks and Bears both trail Missouri by a half-game but this game is arguably bigger for Baylor. A loss here puts it a game behind both the Tigers and Jayhawks but it would essentially be two games behind Kansas because of the season series loss and a Big XII regular season championship would likely be gone.
Kansas still has a home game against Missouri so it still has a chance to even that series and get its payback. Baylor is looking for that now. The Bears lost in Lawrence by 18 points last month as Kansas could not miss from the floor. Baylor shot a respectable 46 percent but the Jayhawks shot 57.4 percent from the field including 54.5 percent from long range to pull away early and never look back. The Bears have not had much success against Kansas at home, going 1-7 in Big XII action, but times have changed.
After that loss in Kansas, Baylor returned home to face Missouri but lost by a point to make it two straight losses and since then has reeled off four straight victories. The Bears also have a revenge game coming up at Missouri on Saturday but we don't have to worry about a lookahead here. That home loss to the Tigers was a rare one as Baylor is 41-5 on its home floor over the last three seasons and even if we do see a close game here, the Bears are 7-1 this season in games decided by five points or fewer.
In the first meeting, Kansas overpowered Baylor behind 55 points from Thomas Robinson and Tyshawn Taylor but the Bears have the players to match up and should take advantage of that at home. The Jayhawks have not lost consecutive games in over six years but the Jayhawks are 2-6-2 ATS in their last 10 road games against teams with a winning home record. The recent winning streak pushed Baylor to 8-2 which is the best start in conference play through 10 games since the Bears went 10-0 in 1947-48. 10* (560) Baylor Bears

Kansas Jayhawks @ Kentucky Wildcats Monday April 2, 2012 9:20 pm
All of the pressure is on Kentucky and head coach John Calipari and while it has handled it very well so far, this is of a different magnitude. The Wildcats are one win away from a National Championship that they are expected to win and that has been the case all season long. I think ... read more

Ohio State Buckeyes @ Kansas Jayhawks Saturday March 31, 2012 8:49 pm
The linesmakers are have given the edge to Ohio St. in this matchup and the main reason for that is the road these two teams have taken to get here. The Buckeyes have covered three of their four tournament games with the only non-covering being by just a bucket. Kansas meanwhile ... read more

Louisville Cardinals @ Kentucky Wildcats Saturday March 31, 2012 6:09 pm
As tempting as these points look, they won't be enough for Louisville to cover against Kentucky, let alone win it outright. The Cardinals have put a very strong run together, similar to that of Connecticut from last season as they won four games in four days to capture the Big East ... read more

Stanford Cardinal @ Minnesota Golden Gophers Thursday March 29, 2012 7:00 pm
Matt is coming off a TREMENDOUS 3-1 Wednesday and he carries that into Thursday! In the NBA, he is on a SENSATIONAL 88-59-4 (60%) run going back to last season while riding a BLISTERING 26-16-1 ATS run since the All-Star break! TWO Winners tonight! He also extends his BLAZING 50-28 ... read more

Minnesota Golden Gophers @ Washington Huskies Tuesday March 27, 2012 9:00 pm
Washington is showing that it is the class of the NIT and the number one seed it received was well deserved. The Huskies have cruised through its three games to get to the NIT Final Four and even though all of those took place at home, they will be just fine in this atmosphere. Washington ... read more

Pittsburgh Panthers @ Washington State Cougars Monday March 26, 2012 10:00 pm
Pittsburgh is coming off an ugly overtime win over Butler on the road to advance to the best-of-three finals in the CBI Tournament. I believe that was their final roadblock before winning this championship. The Panthers came into this tournament with a great attitude after a very ... read more

Florida Gators @ Louisville Cardinals Saturday March 24, 2012 4:30 pm
You have to give credit to Florida for the run it is having but there is no reason it should be favored here. The Gators are one of the two lower seeded teams that are favored Saturday and while Ohio St. is justified, Florida isn't. The Gators first two games came against lower seeded ... read more

Indiana University Hoosiers @ Kentucky Wildcats Friday March 23, 2012 9:45 pm
This one gets ugly. Kudos for Indiana and Tom Creen and the tremendous rebuilding job that Indiana went through this season but it comes to an end tonight. The Hoosiers were pretty fortunate to escape their last game against VCU as they committed 22 turnovers, which was a season ... read more

Florida Gators @ Marquette Golden Eagles Thursday March 22, 2012 10:17 pm
Florida has had a very easy time in getting into the Sweet 16 and it caught a very big break with Missouri going down against Norfolk St. The Gators have won their first two games by 26 and 34 points which is a rarity in this tournament, no matter the competition. The 30 ppg scoring ... read more

Nevada Wolf Pack @ Stanford Cardinal Wednesday March 21, 2012 9:00 pm
The Wolf Pack were an NCAA Tournament bubble team yet they only received one of the four number five seeds in the NIT and they have used that as motivation along the way. Now they are a win away from their first ever NIT Final Four and while the trip to New York has not been used ... read more
