Note: The revenge-minded Cowboys host the Cyclones in a Big 12 battle in Stillwater Tuesday evening knowing Iowa State has never won (0-14 SU, 4-10 ATS) in 14 career trips to Gallagher-Iba Arena. It also doesn’t help that Fred Hoiberg’s bunch is entering off a quintuple revenge win with Oklahoma, or that they own a 0-7 SU and 1-6 ATS mark on the road after seeing the Sooners. We should also mention that in the earlier meeting in Ames, Iowa State’s Scott Christopherson banked in a three-pointer at the buzzer to pull out a 71-68 win. We’re not sure if the Cowboys are more upset that they blew a 6-point late in the contest or that Christopherson didn’t call ‘bank.’ Either way, we’re banking on the ‘Boys to make amends for that defeat as the Cyclones are just 1-5 SU and 1-4-1 ATS in their last six games versus a foe with same-season revenge from a loss of 4 or less points.
