Georgetown Hoyas at Syracuse Orange

15* graded play on Georgetown as they take on Syracuse in the quarter finals of the Big east Tournament set to start at Noon EST.  Our proprietary sports handicapping model and simulator shows a high probability that GT will lose this game by fewer than 5 games. GT is projected to shoot between 47 and 53% in this game and we believe it is going to be a more of a half court game that will find the holes in the Syracuse 2-3 zone and get high percentage shots. In past games where opponents have shot within this range Syracuse is 5-9 ATS over the past 3 seasons and 14-50 ATS since 1997. We also see GT using the “3” to extend the 2-3 zone as well. Syracuse is 24-56 ATS when opponents hit between 38 and 45% of their 3‘s. HC Boeheim has not done well against solid 3-point shooting teams like Georgetown. He is just 23-36 ATS (-16.6 Units) versus good 3 point shooting teams making >=37% of their attempts after 15+ games spanning his reign at Syracuse. We also believe the recent layoff will hurt Syracuse and Georgetown played very well yesterday and that will carry over to this game. Consider making an alternative wager playing 12* on the line and 3* on the money line. Take Georgetown.
