ATS: Baylor Bears -4 (-110)
WIN for +4.55 unit(s)
Saint Marys CA Gaels at Baylor Bears
Take Baylor over St. Mary's
St. Mary's has been a fun team to watch. With their twin towers of Ben Allen and Omar Samhan, they crunched Richmond on the boards, 39-16, grabbing 18 offensive caroms to the Spiders three! An undersized Villanova team held their own on the glass against the Gaels, but Samhan was 13 of 16 from the field for 32 points. That slightly bettered his output against Nova where he chalked up 29 on 11 of 16 shooting. The Bears' front line has very good size and is probably the most athletic one St. Mary's will have faced this year. Baylor is 7th in the nation in 2-point field goal defense,41.7%, and only four teams in the nation have a higher percentage of blocking shots. Both teams have very efficient offenses, but with Baylor playing in their own back yard in Texas, I like the Bears to prevail with the cover.
Take the Bears

Washington Huskies @ West Virginia Mountaineers Thursday March 25, 2010 7:25 pm
Take Washington over West Virginia Everybody talked about how the Pac-10 was so down this year. I guess nobody thought to let Coach Lorenzo Romar and his Washington Huskies know about that. Washington romped over the #3-seeded new Mexico Lobos after beating ... read more

BYU Cougars @ Kansas State Wildcats Saturday March 20, 2010 8:20 pm
Take Kansas State -4 over BYU BYU is not very strong up front nor overly athletic. This is the weakest I can remember BYU being inside in a long time. Wildcats Kelly and Samuels should have an easy day. They also draw a lot of fouls which ... read more

Louisville Cardinals @ California Golden Bears Friday March 19, 2010 10:20 pm
Take California over Louisville Cal is the third best team in the country in offensive efficiency. They shoot the 3 well at 37.3%, #49, and defend it well, 32.1%, #76. Louisville relies heavily on the 3-pointer, 40% of all shots, and is weak against opponents offensive ... read more

New Mexico State Aggies @ Michigan State Spartans Friday March 19, 2010 7:30 pm
Take New Mexico State over Michigan State The Aggies can get up and down the court and they know how to put the rock in the bucket. While they don't play very good defense, they are similar to the Golden State Warriors in the NBA, they try to outscore you. ... read more

San Diego State Aztecs @ Tennessee Volunteers Thursday March 18, 2010 10:00 pm
Take Tennessee over San Diego State Who beat both Kansas and Kentucky? Yep, Tennessee. A spot I like to look for is a quality team coming off of an embarrassing loss. The Vols qualify as their 29-point loss to Kentucky in the SEC Tourney semi's was ... read more

Saint Marys CA Gaels @ Richmond Spiders Thursday March 18, 2010 3:43 pm
Take Richmond over St. Mary's Many times, teams that run the Princeton offense such as Richmond does, are not that capable of scoring off of the dribble. The Spiders play an up-tempo style of the Princeton and are athletic enough to break from their offensive set. ... read more
