The pace in Games 3 and 4 of this series increased significantly. The Spurs are quickly looking for outlet passes to Ginobili or Parker to get the ball up court quickly.
New Orleans Coach Byron Scott has continuously urged his team to speed up the tempo. In Game 4, Hornets point guard was being trapped frequently and his assists went down to only 5 with 4 turnovers. Pushing the tempo will help Paul avoid being trapped and should improve their offensive efficiency.
Game 3 went Over the lined total by 26 points. Game 4 should have gone Over the total but the insertion of second-stringers for virtually the entire fourth quarter by both teams ended up with only a 34 point quarter.
Look for an improved Hornets offense along with a continued faster pace.
