The Spurs host the Rockets in their Intrastate rivalry. Houston (12-9 SU, 12-9 ATS) has put together a very nice season thus far. However, this team has been much better at home than on the road. While this is true for most teams, it is even more magnified for this Rockets club. This season the Rockets are 8-4 ATS and 9-3 SU at home and that includes a blowout win over the Spurs back on Dec 29, 105-85. On the road, the Rockets are 4-5 ATS and 3-6 SU, though they have been better of late on the road, though they did lost on Jan 11 at San Antonio, 101-95, covering the 7-pt spread. Meanwhile, the Spurs are 10-1 SU and 7-4 ATS at home. Their home average margin of victory this season is 12.5 ppg and they are allowing under 90 points per game at home - and that includes allowing 117 to Denver back on Jan 7. The Spurs defense will shutdown this Rockets club on Wednesday. I haven't liked the Rockets much on the road, but especially don't like them against a good defensive club.
