Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys

Philadelphia got embarrassed in last week’s game to Dallas, and as a result the betting public is jumping all over Dallas in this situation.  Some sharp bettors are also leaning toward Dallas in this situation.  However, I feel that Philadelphia is the correct selection.  The Eagles missed several opportunities in last week’s game with many dropped passes.  Philadelphia also packed things in once getting down early as well.  The Eagles looked content to let the Cowboys run all over them as well.  However, Philadelphia has a significant advantage in coaching with Andy Reid compared to Wade Phillips.  Reid is very good at making adjustments and an excellent game planner.  Meanwhile, I feel that Dallas is over confident heading into this game after getting a big blowout win last week, playing another game at home, and playing well lately.  I feel that Philadelphia will be the much more focused team as a result and will come in with more intensity.  In addition, the Eagles can just lose this game as a field goal and still cover the point spread.  Look for Philadelphia to take this game down to the wire and possibly win outright.
