Green Bay Packers at Arizona Cardinals

Photo_nfl

This game features two offenses poised to light up the scoreboard.  Green Bay’s offense has been clicking late in the season, and Aaron Rodgers is one of the most under-rated quarterbacks in the NFL.  They were able to torch the Cardinals defense last week as well.  It was obvious that the defense wasn’t going as hard as they can, however the Packers should still have offensive success.  Green Bay has scored 26 points or more in 8 of their last 10 games.  Meanwhile, Arizona was a completely different team without Kurt Warner last week.  They had a very basic offensive game plan as well in order to give the Packers less of an edge heading into this game.  I expect this game to be back and forth throughout with both teams matching each other score for score.  The Packers and Cardinals both have injuries on the defensive side of the ball as well, which will enable both offenses to have more success.  Arizona wide receiver Anquan Boldin is dealing a knee injury but is expected to play.  Even if he doesn’t play well, the Cardinals have shown that their offense can play well without him.  Look for this game to go over the total with both teams lighting up the scoreboard.

New Orleans Saints @ Indianapolis Colts Sunday February 7, 2010 6:25 pm
The biggest reason for this selection is the game last week between the Vikings and Saints.  New Orleans was outgained by over 200 yards but Minnesota threw the game away by committing five turnovers.  New Orleans has looked very suspect against Minnesota, Dallas, and ... read more

Baltimore Ravens @ New England Patriots Sunday January 10, 2010 1:00 pm
New England was controlling their game against Baltimore earlier in the season much more than the final score and end of the game indicated.  The Ravens had a chance to win outright in that game but it was because of a fumble returned for a touchdown.  Otherwise they ... read more

Philadelphia Eagles @ Dallas Cowboys Saturday January 9, 2010 8:00 pm
Philadelphia got embarrassed in last week’s game to Dallas, and as a result the betting public is jumping all over Dallas in this situation.  Some sharp bettors are also leaning toward Dallas in this situation.  However, I feel that Philadelphia is the correct ... read more

Kansas City Chiefs @ Denver Broncos Sunday January 3, 2010 4:15 pm
Denver is having a tremendous amount of in-house fighting at the worst possible time.  They need to win this game in order to secure a playoff spot, but they have plenty of distractions this week.  Star wide receiver Brandon Marshall is not playing this week because ... read more

Philadelphia Eagles @ Dallas Cowboys Sunday January 3, 2010 4:15 pm
Dallas has a great deal of motivation in this game.  They were embarrassed by Philadelphia last year to end the season, even though their playoff hopes were on the line.  All of the players remember that game very well and have said that they want to avenge that loss ... read more

Indianapolis Colts @ Buffalo Bills Sunday January 3, 2010 1:00 pm
The weather is expected to be bitterly cold and windy in Buffalo today.  I rarely take totals this low in the NFL, but there are a few circumstances here that make this play a great selection.  Weather is a huge factor.  When the wind swirls in Buffalo it makes ... read more

Jacksonville Jaguars @ Cleveland Browns Sunday January 3, 2010 1:00 pm
The motivational edge in this game is completely on the side of Cleveland in this game.  Every player is likely playing for their job for the last time, as newly hired General Manager Mike Holmgren is deciding who to keep heading into next year.  Meanwhile, Jacksonville ... read more
