One such team is the Buffalo Sabres, who suffered through the beginning of the season and find themselves in 14th place in the Eastern Conference. Things couldn't have gone much worse for Buffalo as they lost close games, suffered some significant injuries and just didn't have the chemistry that fans hoped for before the season. But this team still has a ton of talent and the pressure is now off as everyone has written this team off for the 2011-12 season. The Montreal Canadiens come into the second half of the season with a glimmer of hope as they are 11th in the Eastern Conference and believe they can still find a way to sneak into the playoffs with a strong push. Throughout the season, it seems like the Canadiens have played to the level of their opponent, stepping up in big games but folding in games that they should easily win. In fact, Montreal is only 8-17 in their last 25 games as a favorite. The Canadiens have also lost the last five meetings against the Sabres and have dropped the last four in Montreal. Take the more talented team who matches up better tonight at a nice dog price.
