Milwaukee Bucks at Sacramento Kings

Milwaukee is a pretty talented team that has dealt with tons of injuries in the last year. This is a team that had playoff aspirations last season that were derailed by injuries. Now they are dealing with the same situation. First off, while not an injury, star Andrew Bogut is back home in Australia dealing with family issues. Bogut is the heart and soul of this team and that is a huge loss. They also have three other key cogs that are listed as doubtful on the injury report. This team called up Darington Hobson from the D-League for this game tonight. That is how thin this team is right now. Yes, the Kings are playing their third game in three nights. But this team is pretty young and relatively healthy (we assume a sick Tyreke Evans will be able to log some minutes tonight in a winnable game). And it’s not like the Bucks have a huge edge here because of the back-to-back-to-back for the Kings. This will be their third game in four nights as well. This is a crazy game tonight. But we do think the Kings have a slight edge and we have them listed as a small favorite. They have looked pretty bad this season but six of their seven opponents are likely high playoff seeds. They have played pretty well at home where they have beaten the Lakers and New Orleans. Milwaukee is 0-3 both straight up and against the spread on the road and they have averaged less than 85 points per game on the road this season. Even though the Kings have a pretty bad defense we just don’t see the Bucks having much offensive success tonight and the Kings have a pretty decent offense at home and should be able to hang in here and we think they squeak out a straight up win tonight.
