Boston Celtics at Orlando Magic

3-Unit Play #517 Take Boston Over Orlando (8:30 p.m. EST, Wednesday) The underdog has now hit in eight of the last nine meetings in this series after Orlando’s upset in Game 4 in Boston. But Boston has shown they are the best team here and they had no problem controlling both games, pretty much from start to finish, in Orlando. The Magic played about the best they could in Game 4 against a Boston team that just seemed unfocused and Orlando needed overtime to get an unlikely win. We think that loss will wake Boston up and have them playing their best tonight. Orlando hasn’t shown the ability to exert their will at almost any time in this series and this is now a crucial game for the Celtics because if they lose tonight then this one is a series once again. We think that Game 4 was Orlando’s one last gasp and attempt at pride but the better team should take care of business. We expect a low scoring game tonight, as all the games in this series have been. If Orlando were to win we could just not see them dominating, we think it would be a last-second shot type of situation. The points seem like great value here,

2-Unit Play #517 Take Boston/Orlando UNDER (8:30 p.m. EST, Wednesday) We think that both teams here are going to do what they do best in this crucial Game 5 and that is play defense. Three of four games in this series have been easy under cashes and the one game that didn’t go under was Game 4 which went to OT and went over by ½ point as a result. Defense has been the strength of both teams in this playoffs and the one thing both teams have done consistently. The under is 10-2 now in the last 12 meetings and 5-1 in the last six meetings in Orlando. The under is also 10-2 for Boston’s last 12 games against a team with a winning record and the Magic share that same stat, meaning both of these teams get up defensively for important games lately, which this on e certainly qualifies as.
