Dallas Mavericks at Miami Heat

4-Unit Play #701 Take Dallas over Miami (9 p.m. EST, Tuesday) Dallas has looked like the best team in the playoffs. Yes, even better than the Heat. And besides home-court advantage we think the oddsmakers are once again overvaluing the Heat, who have been installed as big favorites in this series. Dallas was one of the best road teams in the NBA this season and they have continued on with that excellence in the playoffs, where they have won five straight road games stretching over the course of three playoff series. This team has beaten the spread in 12 of 15 playoff games and their was one push mixed in there, so this is an obviously undervalued team and the bookies are still behind on this team, as we think they have a great chance to win the series. We think there is a great chance they steal one of these first games in Miami and that win could come tonight. Dallas is a more well-rounded team and Drik Nowitzki has taken his play to a new level in the playoffs. We see this one as a close game and the dog will have a great chance to win it at the end. The Heat have not been great in situations with long rest. They are 10-17 ATS this season with two or more days rest, while the Mavs are 13-9-1 ATS in the same situation and 6-2 ATS with three or more days rest. And we all remember how Miami came out and laid an egg in Game 1 of the East Finals against Chicago.
