Richmond Spiders at Xavier Musketeers

Richmond has been waiting for this chance at redemption since they lost to Xavier on February 28th, 2010 in double overtime by two points in Cincinnati. The Spiders looked much more impressive last night in their victory over Massachusetts, as Dayton just gave Xavier the game late despite leading by double digits midway through the second half. The Musketeers lost three starters from their team from last year as well as their head coach. Richmond has equal talent and they like to play zone and Xavier is not shooting it well from long range. The Musketeers went just 3 for 15 from 3-point range last night against Dayton. Richmond has lost just 1 time in their last 12 games and since both of these teams are already in the tournament, expect Richmond to be hungrier since they will playing to get off the 8/9 line.
