The White Sox knocked around the best the Royals have to offer on Friday, as Zach Grienke lasted just three innings and allowed seven runs. The White Sox cruised to an easy victory and you can expect more of the same this evening behind Gavin Floyd, as he is 10-5 on the season with a 3.63 E.R.A. The White Sox have won all four games against the Royals @ the Cell scoring over 30 runs in those outings. They have been unstoppable at home going 33-13 and the Royals do not have the bats to challenge this powerful line-up. Floyd has also resembled home domination going 7-1 with a 2.57 E.R.A. in ten starts at the Cell in 2008. He got lit up at Texas in his last start but that can happen to the best of pitchers, as Arlington is a launching pad. The Royals will turn to Gil Meche and he has not been the same pitcher as he was in 2007. He is just 6-9 on the season with a 4.71 E.R.A. His only start against Chicago was a disaster taking the loss by allowing five runs in just over five innings of work. This game belongs to the White Sox.
