I'm laying the points with PHOENIX. While they had last night off, I feel that this will be a difficult spot for the Pistons. That's because it represents their seventh road game in their last eight games, meaning that they have played in eight straight different cities. Additionally, its final leg of the current 4-game trip. Also, they've got Cleveland on deck when they return home and the Cavs are their primary division rival. That's followed by a date with the defending world champion Celtics. The Celtics already beat the Pistons once this season and they were the team that knocked the Pistons out of the playoffs. In other words, it would be easy to get caught looking ahead to those two huge games. That's particularly true when coming off a huge upset win over the defending Western Conference champion Lakers. Note that the Pistons are a money-burning 5-15 ATS the last 20 times they were coming off an upset victory. Most recently, after "upsettting" Toronto, the Pistons lost outright as 7.5 point favorites at New Jersey. The Suns will have payback on their minds as they lost both games to the Pistons last season. Look for them to be the more determined and focused team this evening, improving to 18-8 ATS (21-5 SU) their last 26 Sunday games. *Personal Favorite
