LA Sparks at New York Liberty

After a bad day last Tuesday, I bounced back yesterday and we are now coming from a nice 2-0 sweep and looking to keep it coming, as I'm having 3 plays for today.

NY faces the Sparks today at home, in a good game in perspective. Honestly for this game I believe the Sparks can beat the home team and fortunately for us, the oddmakers are giving an huge favoritism for NY, which makes the ML for the Sparks to also have a lot of value and that's why I'm also taking them to win outright with a small stake. The Sparks will play their second game after the Detroit brawl, which made the league become much more popular. This game will be a back to back game for LA, as they have played in Connecticut and lost by 61-87. All because their big three Parker, Leslie and Milton-Jones were suspended for that game and without them the team couldn't be competitive. Today they will be back and they will come fired up. The emotional aspect is extremely important in sports and these players saw their team being slaughtered because of their behavior at Detroit and today they will try to compensate that in NY. I expect a very aggressive team of LA today and that kind of aggressiveness makes the Liberty struggle, as they have lost a lot of games against these kind of teams. The last one was at home against Indiana.

This game will also be a revenge game for the Sparks, as they lost at home against the Liberty by 78-89 in a really weird game, as NY outscored LA by 38-16 in the last quarter, entering the last quarter trailing by 9 points and ending up winning by 9 points. Also in that game Lisa Leslie just played 11 minutes, as she committed 6 fouls in a short amount of time. So, there is also be another motivation for Leslie to play well today. The Liberty have been inconsistent this season and against a really aggressive team and with their best players wanting to pull out a good performance today, the dog has a lot of value today, especially with the oddmakers underrating them.
