Cleveland Cavaliers at Boston Celtics

Game 5 of this series and right now the series is tied 2-2, so I can say the major decisions to find out who will face Detroit in the Eastern conference final will be in part decided tonight. Boston showed that they can't win on the road in this post season, being 0-5 in those games, so there will be an huge pressure to win today, as in case of a defeat, they will need to win at Cleveland in the Game 6, something they are yet to do and the position of the Celtics in this situation would be dramatic for them. So the question right now to ask is which style will Boston use today. The Celtics are a very tough defensive team, but the Cavs are even tougher and Boston is struggling in the attack playing at a low pace. Actually Boston lost at Cleveland both times by double digits, while at Boston in the Game 1, the game was a ball game and where the Cavs could have won it. And that's a scenario which may happen again today if Boston doesn't change anything. I remember that if the game is close in the last minutes of the game, the Cavs have Lebron who is one of the best clutch players in the league. In four games until now the max points Boston has scored was 89 points! The team is yet to score 90 points in this series! So something will have to change today and Boston today will need to raise the pace of the game, as they only get advantages by doing that, as it would prevent the defense of the Cavs to stabilize. On the other side Lebron continues to struggle offensively, but the explosive dunk he made at the end of the Game 4 may have given him a lot of confidence for these games, so if he stops from shooting from the exterior, his scoring tough will easily come back. There is a curious fact about this series: until now every game is having less turnovers than the previous one. Game 1: 38 TO; Game 2: 27 TO; Game 3: 21 TO; Game 4: 15 TO. So we are just talking about with bad shooting decisions and Boston will certainly find a way of involving their Big 3 more in the attack. The Game 4 of this series ended with just 165 points, mainly thanks to a 4th period who just had 32 points (20-12) and where both teams couldn't score a single point for more than 3 minutes! That game made today's game total line to comeback to the mid 170's (176). That's a difference of five points between the previous game of the series and this one. So the value for the over in this game has been created and I believe it is a good bet, as until now we are yet to see both teams having a good offensive game and with Boston having to try something new in the attack, I believe we will see Boston today coming back to the 100 points barrier.
