Final game of this series with each team having a win right now and with the pitching staff getting the upper hand over the offenses until now, as both games ended up being under. Today I expect the same to happen today, with the pitchers dominating once again. For the Blue Jays that’s obviously expected as Halladay will start for them. The ace of the Blue Jays is in an amazing moment, with 1.81 ERA on his last 9 starts and he is coming to this back, after having dominated the Red Sox in the Fenway Park, allowing just 1 run in a complete game. Halladay has been dominating the Yankees this season and the proof of that is that in their last game between these two teams with Halladay starting, he played another complete game and he didn’t allow a single run.
The key for this game is trying to know if Ponson will also be capable from having a quality start and I think so. Ponson has been facing powerful clubs lately, as the Twins or the Rangers and he has been managing of getting quality start game after game.
