RUNLINE: Houston Astros -1.5 (+166)
LOSS for -3 unit(s)
Los Angeles Dodgers at Houston Astros
For this game Houston has a tremendous edge in every level and even with the low price offered, it still is an excellent bet, as I'm going to demonstrate. Houston will look their fourth win in a row and they will send the left handed Wandy Rodriguez as their starting pitcher. Even though he is just 3-3 this season, his performances have been way better than the record shows and the lack of support of the attack of Houston is the main reason for his weak record. Rodriguez has an ERA of 2.58, which becomes 1.89 ERA in home games. In his last match he had an amazing performance against Texas, where in eight innings, he allowed just 1 run and 5 hits.
The Dodgers will use Clayton Kershaw as their starting pitcher today, who is still looking for his first win as a professional. Kershaw is 0-2 and 4.36 ERA this season and he isn't used to play for a lot of time, as he uses to leave the game after 4 or 5 innings. The big problem for Kershaw in here is that the Dodgers are completely out of offensive rhythm, as in the last seven games the team has a ridiculous 2 runs per game and 19.3% of efficiency. The team of Houston has won the four games they have faced the Dodgers this season and today the scenario appoints to this streak to continue. Take Houston in here.
