My Handicapping and Betting Philosophy
KH Consulting employs a focused approach to the consulting business of collegiate football and basketball, the NFL and MLB. By focusing our energies, we are able to keep up with the weekly information pouring out about the divisions and conferences we regularly follow. Due to our focused approach and handicapping history, you’ll receive the relevant information that will make the difference in your bottom line throughout the season.
My Handicapping Experience
10 years sports handicapping experience.
My Special Achievments in Handicapping
My Most Memorable Moment
Duke’s Chris Duhon’s last-second bank shot for the cover against UCONN in the Final Four.
Biggest Win of my Career
Money line wager on Colorado in the 2001 Big 12 Championship game against Texas in Dallas.
Toughest Loss of my Career
Later that same season, we thought we had the underdog play with Nebraska and Eric Crouch in the Rose Bowl against the Miami Hurricanes, and boy were we dead wrong on that one!
Favorite Team(s) to Play or Fade
Fade: Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Boston Red Sox after the break, New York Yankees before the break.
What You Can Expect From Me
Technology has been both good and bad for the sports information industry. The good is that everyone now has access to information about each and every game. The bad news is that the average player is now spread too thin. They have a difficult time sorting through the information, cracking it and finding a way to employ it directly to their bottom line. At KH Consulting, we do the leg work for you using a focused approach that allows us to identify mistakes within the lines through meticulous and constant research. You’ll soon learn that KH Consulting is second to none when it comes to winning analysis in college sports, the NFL and MLB.

"There is no yesterday, only today and how it prepares you for tomorrow."

Kendall Holiday Past Picks
San Diego Padres @ Chicago Cubs Wednesday May 14, 2008 8:05 pm
That noise you heard last Mother's Day was an awakening giant in San Diego. The bats are starting to awaken in the Padres clubhouse, which is significant when one considers how prolific their pitching is. The Cubs, after a hot start, have been average, and the Padres come into tonight ... read more
Colorado Rockies @ San Diego Padres Saturday May 10, 2008 10:05 pm
Gotta go with the Rockies here as they are starting to come around and not press at the plate which has been the differnece in their three game win streak, their longest of the season. Ubaldo Jimenez has great stuff at sea level, and if he can avoid the big inning, he stands to ... read more
Colorado Rockies @ San Diego Padres Friday May 9, 2008 10:05 pm
Good price on Peavy here tonight, who has pitched well already against Colorado this season. Peavy started the epic 22 inning game a couple of weeks ago, and while he did not get the win, he owned the Rockies that night. Colorado counters with Aaron Cook who has been very good ... read more
Arizona Diamondbacks @ Chicago Cubs Friday May 9, 2008 2:20 pm
A rematch of the Division Series last year, that saw the Diamondbacks surprise everyone and sweep the Cubs quickly and effortlessly. Both of these team have had nice starts to this season and Arizona is playing the best baseball in the National League. We side with the over in ... read more
St. Louis Cardinals @ Colorado Rockies Thursday May 8, 2008 3:05 pm
The Rockies got the kind of win that sparks a team last night, scoring four times in the eighth inning to beat the Cardinals. They look for a series split this afternoon. Lohse was bombed in his last start by the Cubs who have a similar lineup to the Rockies. Meanwhile, De La ... read more
St. Louis Cardinals @ Colorado Rockies Wednesday May 7, 2008 8:35 pm
When you are playing poorly, things tend to become magnified and even the maneger can make huge mistakes as was the case at Coors Field on Monday night. Couple things, the Cardinals are not this good, do not be fooled, they will tumble. One other thing, the Rockies and Jeff Francis ... read more
Baltimore Orioles @ Los Angeles Angels Sunday May 4, 2008 3:35 pm
We like the Angels this season and count us among those that think Baltimore will come back to reality a bit in the next month. We side with the Angels this afternoon for three units. ... read more
Los Angeles Dodgers @ Colorado Rockies Sunday May 4, 2008 3:05 pm
Cook has been the only news in Colorado's young season to date but the Dodgers are the hottest team in baseball right now, and their lineup is clicking on all cylinders. Colorado seems like a lost team and is getting little production out of their lineup. Cook or not, we think ... read more
Pittsburgh Pirates @ Washington Nationals Thursday May 1, 2008 7:10 pm
Like Pittsburgh in this spot, as their lineup does well against lefties, and they have been victimized by a difficult schedule to start the season. This three game set will be a welcomed break and they have good value in this one. ... read more
Detroit Tigers @ New York Yankees Thursday May 1, 2008 7:05 pm
After their horrible start to the season, the Tigers have rebounded nicely, and this Yankee team simply is a shadow of their formal selves. We'll gladly side with the Tigers here. ... read more
Colorado Rockies @ San Francisco Giants Tuesday April 29, 2008 10:15 pm
The Rockies are not hitting right now, and we do not expect them to find their bats on a cool night in San Fran. Both of these pitchers have been lights out for their teams to date and we expect more of the same here tonight. Three units on the under. ... read more
Oakland Athletics @ Los Angeles Angels Tuesday April 29, 2008 10:05 pm
Saunders has been great to date and the Angels got spanked last night. We like that mix and side with the Angels for three units here. ... read more
Denver Nuggets @ Los Angeles Lakers Wednesday April 23, 2008 10:30 pm
Too many points, Denver will show up better defensively tonight, and actually outscored the Lakers in three of the four quarters the other night. We'll take the points. ... read more
Colorado Rockies @ San Diego Padres Tuesday April 15, 2008 10:05 pm
First matchup of the season between the two teams who provided one of the more memorable playoff games in recent history last season. Jimenez has thrown well against the Pads in his young career, and Randy Wolf is nothing to get overly excited about. Colorado's lineup is finally ... read more
Colorado Rockies @ Arizona Diamondbacks Friday April 11, 2008 9:40 pm
Brandon Webb is certainly one of the best pitchers in all of baseball, but one little known fact about the sinker baller, is that the Colorado Rockies have had a great deal of success against him in recent history. In fact, Webb was 1-3 with an ERA approaching 6 last season against ... read more
Oakland Athletics @ Cleveland Indians Friday April 11, 2008 7:05 pm
Pay back situation here, as Oakland took two of three from the Indians last weekend, and beat Sabathia in the process. Sabathia is somewhat of a slow starter, but the Indians offense has not been up to par to date. Expect that to start to change over the weekend. Oakland is overmatched ... read more
Philadelphia Phillies @ New York Mets Thursday April 10, 2008 7:10 pm
Eaton is garbage, and Maine is on the bounce back. Throw in the fact that Rollins is hobbled and the Mets bats are starting to come around, as we like the Mets here. Like them on the run line as well. ... read more
Los Angeles Dodgers @ Arizona Diamondbacks Wednesday April 9, 2008 3:40 pm
Have to side with Owings here and the hot Diamondbacks, who have been scoring runs in bunches thanks in large part to Mark Reynolds big bat, and the return of the Orlando Hudson to the lineup. Hudson was sidelined at the end of last season, and we think he'll be a household name ... read more
Kansas Jayhawks @ Memphis Tigers Monday April 7, 2008 9:21 pm
Dance with the one who brought you comes to mind here. Kansas has a veyr good selfless team, but they do not have a single player like Derrick Rose, and really have no one to guard him. If Douglas Roberts is able to compliment him on the offensive end, this will be a very difficult ... read more
Arizona Diamondbacks @ Colorado Rockies Sunday April 6, 2008 3:05 pm
Arizona has started the season off well, while the Colorado Rockies are struggling in all three phases of the game right now. A team that was stellar one season ago on defense is not playing clean baseball. In addition, they are not pitching and are only 4-40 with runners in scoring ... read more
Arizona Diamondbacks @ Colorado Rockies Sunday April 6, 2008 3:05 pm
The first two games of this series have gone under, but Colorado has had ample opportunities to score runs in bunches and has not capitalized. Both of these pitchers have the ability to either shut their opponent down or get rocked. We see this game in the 12 run total category ... read more
Tampa Bay Rays @ New York Yankees Sunday April 6, 2008 1:05 pm
We side with the hot Devil Rays who look like their youngsters are really stepping it up on the offensive side of the ball. Shields goes against Wang today and we are getting very good value on the Devil Rays who look for the sweep of a Yankee team that is simply a shadow of its ... read more
Kansas Jayhawks @ North Carolina Tar Heels Saturday April 5, 2008 8:47 pm
Carolina is a great team, but the Hawks are getting no respect here and have the bigs to match up with Hansbrough. These two teams are very evenly matched, and we'll gladly take the points in this one, as we have this game at a pick em. Four units on the Rock Jock Jayhawks. ... read more
Memphis Tigers @ UCLA Bruins Saturday April 5, 2008 6:07 pm
Memphis is our pick. Derrick Rose will be the difference. The overall athleticism of the Tigers will be too much for Ben Howlands team, who must avoid foul trouble or this game could get out of hand. Memphis is playing the best basketball of anyone in the tournament right now, ... read more
Cleveland Indians @ Oakland Athletics Saturday April 5, 2008 4:05 pm
Cleveland's CC Sabathia will dominate this game as Cleveland looks to even this series after dropping yesterday's opener 6-3. Oakland got a big start from rookie Dusherer yesterday and they turn to rookie Dana Eveland tonight. He has stuggled in his only MLB experience and we look ... read more
