Super Bowl Props Betting

The biggest day in the sports world is almost upon us and Super Bowl XLIII couldn’t be more exciting. The matchup features a team that has never made a Super Bowl against one that’s been there seven times. Fan interest is at an all-time high and there couldn’t be more to look forward to on the field. While there is a lot of on-field potential, there are also a lot of things going on off the field. Super Bowl parties, commercials, food, and fun are just part of the national holiday that we call Super Bowl Sunday.

Besides all of this, one overlooked source of fun is betting all the props that the big game brings. This doesn’t necessarily mean just betting on who is going to win. While that can be fun, it’s not as exciting as some of the other bets out there. Propositional bets (or prop bets) give an added element of fun to the game that you won’t get anywhere else. So what types of things can you bet on with a propositional bet? If you can think of it…someone is probably betting on it. With propositional bets you can bet on everything from how many yards someone will have to how many incompletions the quarterback will have. These are not your typical bets that you see everywhere else.

Super Bowl Sunday brings with it many bets that otherwise never see the light of day. Super Bowl Sunday is by far the biggest day of betting every year. This provides ample opportunities for you to have fun and make some money. One of the most fun prop bets is picking the MVP of the game. Regardless of what you know about the game of football, it is extremely difficult to pick the MVP of the game. The Super Bowl has seen some improbable MVP’s over the years and this year might be no exception. There have been kick returners that have won the award as well as defensive backs. You really just never know who will win. It’s not always going to be the quarterback or running back hoisting the trophy over their head at the end. This means that if you correctly pick someone who isn’t favored to win, your odds will be great. You can make a lot of money off of a minimal investment.

In addition to the MVP bet, the quarterback bets are fun as well. There are numerous bets to pick from on this front and they are all unique. A common one is picking whether or not the first pass of the game will be a completion or not. If you pick completion and either quarterback completes their first pass, you win. Most of these bets are really a guessing game. You can even pick whether a quarterback will finish with odd or even passing yards. If you can correctly predict that, more power to you. Regardless of which bet you choose to go after, just remember that it’s all in the name of fun. If you can make a little bit of extra money in the process, it just makes the deal that much sweeter.
