RUNLINE SYSTEMS

One of the most overlooked areas of wagering in baseball, is playing a team to win or lose on the runline as opposed to the moneyline. It is mostly because gamblers are pretty headstrong in their understanding and beliefs, and it becomes hard for them to measure just how much value there is in a runline wager vs a more conventional moneyline wager. This should not deter you from examiming a solid premise, and make some money as we head into September. The baseball season is a long one, and things change along the way, and so does the premise of this system I'm about to present. Let's start with the logic. Games that have a huge moneyline are often percieved by the general betting public as an easy winner. That may be the case but there is no value in playing heavy moneyline favorites in major league baseball, as the percentage of games you need to win on a -200 moneyline favorite is appraching 70%. Where very few gamblers look, is siding opposite the general public, and opting for the +1.5 runline. So therein lies a system that will make you a lot of money. The system is simple. Take the biggest underdog on the board, and play that team on the +1.5 runline. The results this year would have you with a 69-50 record!! Remember I said the season was long, and things change? Well they do. Once the trading deadline has passed, we begin to do just the opposite. All the bad teams have packed it in for the season, and have traded off top players for draft choices, and begin digging into the minor leagues to evaluate players for next year. So after July 31st, or on August 1st, we do just the opposite. We take the highest favorite on the board on a given day, and play on that team vs the -1.5 runline. This has resulted in a 23-4 record through games played August 27th!!! That means the combined record for these games would have you sitting pretty at 92-54 or 63% winners, with odds that average out to laying -110 or so, much the same as a conventional moneyline bet, but with very profitable results.
