Mr. East NCAAF Title chasers

The calander has turned November, and as the crisp fall air takes hold, we take a look at the ranks of the unbeaten in NCAAF. The contender list remains at 7, as Iowa got a scare from Indiana, but survived. The list of 1 loss teams, waiting for the slip, has also been pared down to 7. Let's take a look at this week's games, and a look ahead to see what is coming for the NCAAF Title chasers.
C. FLORIDA (5-3) @ TEXAS (8-0)
Central Florida off a short week, has to travel to Texas, and if the Hrns lose here, there ought to be an investigation. Their win over Oklahoma St. pretty much puts the Horns in the Championship game, as there are no more real tough games left, not even the Big-12 Title game. UPSET POTENTIAL: 0
UCONN (4-4) @ CINCINNATI (8-0)
The Huskies really have some bad karma this season, not only a devastating untimely death of Jasper Howard, but 4 losses by a combined 13 points, where they lked each game deep into the 4th quarter. Can you imagine if they did not implode? The Huskies would be 8-0 in 55 minute games! Cincinnati, if they get by this one, will likely have a showdown with Pitt on Dec. 5th for the Big East Championship, and BCS Bowl berth. UPSET POTENTIAL: SMALL+
NORTHWESTERN (5-4) @ IOWA (9-0)
The Hawkeyes almost self destructed vs Indiana, as they trailed deep into the game, and finished with a misleading 18 point win. Iowa never looks pretty, but you can't argue with 9-0. Their day may be coming soon, as Ohio St. awaits on the road next week. UPSET POTENTIAL: SMALL
TCU (8-0) @ SAN DIEGO ST. (4-4)
San Diego St. can be a dangerous team to play on the road, but the Frogs always good defense is getting even scarily better, allowing just 13 points in the last 3 weeks. top in the country now. A win sets up the Mountain West showdown next Saturday at home vs Utah. UPSET POTENTIAL: SMALL-
VANDERBILT (2-7) @ FLORIDA (8-0)
It's a clear slate for the Gators, who look to be setting up for an SEC Title game showdown with Alabama, with the winner likely punching their ticket to play Texas for the National Championship. Unless they slip at S. Carolina, the path is clear until then. UPSET POTENTIAL: 0
LSU (7-1) @ ALABAMA (8-0)
The Tide which looked invincible, shwed a chink against Tennessee, and were lucky to escape. That may be the fuel to come out in force against the upset seeking Bayou Bengals, who can play some "D" and are improving offensively. This should be interesting, but if the Tide escapes here, and against arch rival Auburn, the Gators await in a game everyone wants to see. UPSET POTENTIAL: MEDIUM
LA TECH (3-5) @ BOISE ST. (8-0)
The Broncos seem to find themselves in this position every year, and although a National Title game would require a lot of bad things to happen for others listed here, they appear to be a likely BCS buster. The rest of the schedule is easy sailing, except for Nevada, but that one is on the blue marble, so expect the Broncos to go 13-0 and await. UPSET POTENTIAL: 0
