Handicapping For The NFL Playoffs....

My service, Pointspreadpros, is based purely on statistical analysis and sophisticated computer simulations and I have been very successful using it in the regular season.
But in the playoffs, sometimes we need to use some alternative methods in determining which teams have the best chance of winning.
From my experience, the biggest keys to being successful in the playoffs are the following:
1. Pick the teams that appear to be peaking
2. Forget the spread and pick who you think will just win the game
3. QB performance becomes paramont, pick the better QB and you will likely get the winner.
4. Home field is much more important in the playoffs than in the regular season.
5. Defense wins championships, look at which team has the better defense.
6. The overall health of the teams, especially to key players
Lets apply these factors to the following games, using my humble opinion:
Game: Washington +4 @ Seattle
#1 - Washington
#2 - Washington
#3 - Seattle
#4 - Seatttle
#5 - Washignton
#6 - Even
Pick: Washington +4
Game: NY Giants +3 @ Tampa Bay
#1 - Neither
#2 - Tampa Bay
#3 - Tampa Bay
#4 - Tampa Bay
#5 - Slight edge to Giants
#6 - Tampa Bay
Pick: Tampa Bay -2.5
Game: Jacksonville -1 @ Pittsburgh
#1 - Jacksonville
#2 - Jacksonville
#3 - Pittsburgh
#4 - Pittsburgh
#5 - Even
#6 - Jacksonville
Pick: Jacksonville -1
Game: Tennessee +8 @ San Diego
#1 - San Diego
#2 - San Diego
#3 - Slight edge to San Diego
#4 - San Diego
#5 - San Diego
#6 - San Diego
Pick: San Diego -8
