NFL SEASON OPENER ***TOP PLAY ALERT***(80% WK1 LY) (Thu 8PM)
Week 1 of the NFL has been my strongest of any week over the last few years, including last year where I went 8-2 and hit a right side winner on the opening night game. I have isolated a TOP PLAY ALERT on the NFL opener between Minnesota and New Orleans this season. I dont have higher unit selections on many primetime NFL games, but this selection is too good not to take advantage of. Start your season off right with this PRIMETIME NFL TOP PLAY ALERT.
Pitt / Utah ***TV BEST BET*** (HUGE 70% RUN) (Thu 8PM)
This game is going to be one of the best games on Thursday night, featuring two teams poised to have big seasons this year. However, there are some unique circumstances in this game that point to one great opportunity to take advantage of. I closed last season on a tremendous 70% run over the last six plus weeks of the regular season, and I'm looking to start things off on the right foot with a big win in this FEATURED TV GAME on THURSDAY NIGHT. Don't miss out on a chance to start the college football season off on a winning note with this TV BEST BET.
CFB GAME OF THE WEEK (70% RUN L3 MONTHS LY) (Sun 2PM)
This play is the strongest selection that I see in Week 1 of the college football season. I am making it my CFB GAME OF THE WEEK. I think there are some great opportunities to take advantage of in the first week, and this selection has a few more factors going for it than my other selections. I made my backers OVER 70 UNITS of profit over the last three months of college football last season and won almost EVERY BIGGER PLAY that I had. If youre only looking for one strong selection in week 1 of college football, then this play is for you.

Did Minnesota Make the Right Choice?
by: Evan Altemus
The biggest sports radio topic this morning was the Minnesota Timberwolves drafting three point guards in the 1st round. Minnesota's general manager, David Kahn, got dragged through the mud by various sports media outlets, specifically for taking Spain's Ricky Rubio and Syracuse's Johnny Flynn with back-to-back picks, as they traded away Ty Lawson, the 18th pick, to Denver. However, does Kahn and Minnesota have a plan that the media and other NBA teams don't know about?
The Timberwolves have already reported that several teams have contacted them about Rubio, as reports are that he and his father are very upset about Flynn being drafted with the 6th pick. There are also rumors that Rubio may not even bother to get out of his pro contract with his Spanish team. However, did Minnesota predict that this storm would happen? Kahn has said that he is listening to all offers for either Flynn or Rubio, and the Timberwolves appear to be in a great position to get strong offers for either point guard. Minnesota, appearing in a position of weakness, is actually in a position of strength.
However, the Timberwolves made a big mistake in firing head coach Kevin McHale. He got this young team to play much better last year, even though the results weren't as apparent in wins and losses. They had an outstanding against the spread record once McHale took over, as he got this young line-up to dramatically improve their play. This team also suffered through the loss of their best player, Al Jefferson, to a season ending injury after their dramatically improved play. McHale's firing is what should make people question if the management knows what they're doing. Overall Minnesota has a chance to have success over the next few years if they handle their current situation with Rubio and Flynn correctly, as well as hire a solid head coach to make people forget about McHale. Also, they need to bring in an additional veteran presence to keep the younger players in control. A Derek Fisher type player is exactly what the team needs to balance the youth with experience if the Timberwolves expect to have any type of success over the next two seasons.

Dallas Cowboys @ Houston Texans Saturday August 28, 2010 8:00 pm
Houston will take this preseason game much more serious than Dallas will. The Cowboys are banged up and still have two more preseason games left. They cannot afford to have any more injuries to starters or reserves. Meanwhile, the Texans have an 0-2 record in the ... read more
Seattle Seahawks @ Minnesota Vikings Saturday August 28, 2010 8:00 pm
This spread is much too high for a team with a new coach against a veteran team contending for the Super Bowl this season. The Vikings don’t care about the preseason at all because they are just trying to get their starters through these games without getting hurt. ... read more
Tennesse Titans @ Carolina Panthers Saturday August 28, 2010 8:00 pm
Carolina has struggled mightily to move the ball on offense during the preseason. They are still without their best weapon Steve Smith, and they are still starting a relatively new quarterback in Matt Moore. The Panthers are still winless in the preseason, but I don’t ... read more

St. Louis Rams @ Cleveland Browns Saturday August 21, 2010 7:30 pm
